Detour Africa curated an amazing 6-Day Namibian Highlights Tour for me.

Special mention goes to James. The package was perfect for my budget and the trip met my expectations in terms of organisation. The best part – All the accommodation spaces were excellent in terms of the quality of the rooms, food, and staff friendliness.

Amazing journey through Kruger and Namibia.

We had an incredible experience with Detour Africa who organised a great trip for us. Our trip included a 4-day safari in the Kruger National Park and a 9-day tour of Namibia. The service was excellent from start to finish. Johnny helped us with everything we needed and was always ready to answer our questions…

To experience both highlights comfortably, you will need at least 6 days.

Etosha National Park is home to four of the Big Five animals—elephants, lions, leopards, and both black and white rhinos—with buffalo notably absent. The park offers excellent opportunities to see these iconic species, especially near the waterholes during the dry season. In addition to the Big Four, visitors can spot giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, hyenas, and various antelope species.

Yes certainly, our tours are ideal for solo travelers looking to explore the Namibia in a safe and social setting.

Most tours begin in Windhoek or Swakopmund, but longer overland tours may start in Cape Town, Johannesburg, or Victoria Falls.

The best place to experience both quad biking and sandboarding over Namibia’s dunes is Swakopmund, a coastal town nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Namib Desert.

The best way to experience Namibia’s iconic dunes is by visiting Sossusvlei in the Namib Desert, famous for its towering sand dunes. Most travelers explore the area on guided tours that include key spots like Big Daddy Dune and Deadvlei. To fully enjoy the dunes and surrounding attractions, plan for around 3 to 4 days.
