DAY 1 Gqeberha / Port Elizabeth To Addo Elephant Park

We start our journey in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) and head out early for Addo Elephant National Park, renowned for its large elephant population and other Big 5 game.

Enjoy a game drive in the tour vehicle (or opt for an open vehicle game drive if you prefer). We spend the day exploring this incredible park. We can stop for lunch at the main rest camp before carrying on with the safari.

DAY 2 Addo Elephant Park To Tsitsikamma

South Africa

After your safari experience, we make our way back down to the coastline where we stop at the famous surfing town of Jeffrey’s Bay.

Next, travel to Storms River for your overnight stay where you can fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the Tsitsikamma Forest.

There are numerous optional activities in both Jeffrey’s Bay and the Tsitsikamma area. It’s best to speak with your consultant with regards to what you would like to do or what best suits your group.

DAY 3 Tsitsikamma To Knysna

South Africa

This morning after breakfast we make our way to the beautiful Tsitsikamma National Park. The morning will be spent in the park, with its unique combination of indigenous forest and beautiful Indian Ocean coastline. The park has a wide choice of activities for all, including hiking, crossing a suspension bridge, and swimming.

After exploring the park, we will head through to the seaside town of Knysna, situated in the heart of the Garden Route.

Knysna is a picturesque town on South Africa’s Garden Route, famous for its stunning lagoon, lush forests, and dramatic sandstone cliffs known as the Knysna Heads. Visitors are drawn to its vibrant cultural scene, fresh oysters, and a wealth of outdoor activities from forest hikes to boat trips on the lagoon.

DAY 4 Knysna To Cape Agulhas

This morning there is some more time to enjoy any other optional activities in the area that you may want to do. Your guide will be on standby and assist in booking any activities you want to take part in.

After lunch we make our way through the small towns of the Overberg region, to the most Southerly tip of Africa, Cape Agulhas, where you have some time to enjoy the long stretch of beach or take a drive to see an old Shipwreck known as the Meisho Maru.

DAY 5 Cape Agulhas / Hermanus To Cape Town

South Africa

This morning is dedicated to exploring the seaside town of Hermanus, a charming seaside town on South Africa’s Whale Coast, world-famous for its land-based whale watching—especially southern right whales from June to November. Beyond whale watching, visitors can enjoy pristine beaches, scenic cliff paths, vibrant markets, excellent wine estates, and a host of outdoor adventures.

Following lunch, we carry on along the coastal route, stopping at Betties Bay to visit a colony of endangered African penguins.

After an incredible week exploring the Garden Route, you will arrive in Cape Town in the late afternoon.
